Mrs. Valerie Anderson joined the staff at ACS in November of 2000. She was born in Coral Gables, Florida, and was raised in Florida and California. As a young adult, Mrs. Anderson moved to Washington, where she raised salmon for a living, and met her husband, Phil. In 2000, they moved to Illinois, to assist Phil's parents. They have three grown children: Graham, Patrick, and Whitney. The family attends Fox River Lutheran Church.

B.S. Exercise Science - Olivet Nazarene University (2012)
Mr. Michael Cobb is a Michigan native and graduate of Olivet Nazarene University. He joined the ACS staff in 2016 as a Middle School and High School Physical Education Teacher. Prior to working at Aurora Christian, he worked for OAK Athletic Development in Bourbonnais, IL as an Athletic Development Personal Trainer working with everyone from middle schoolers and high schoolers to retirees on how to live a life of wellness. Michael finds joy in being able to build relationships with his students, and highly values the Christian environment that ACS provides both students and staff. Michael married fellow ONU grad Melissa Cobb, who is the ATC on staff at ACS. Michael stays busy coaching HS Cross Country and Junior Varsity Girls Basketball. Outside of school, the Cobbs enjoy building things, watching movies, and spending time with their two dogs, Kevin and Maggie.

B.A Social Studies Education-North Central College (1992)
Mrs Allison Dennis grew up in Wheaton, raised her family in Batavia/Aurora, and now lives in St Charles with her husband of 30+ years. She has been a part of the ACS family for nearly 20 years. First as a parent, then as a classroom and cafeteria volunteer, substitute teacher preK-12th grade, elementary "birthday cake lady" and then as full-time cafeteria staff. After moving to Kentucky for 3 years and then to Michigan for 4 years, she is happy to be back in the area. Just weeks after moving back, she was thrilled to be hired once again full-time in the ACS kitchen. Allison and Geoff are parents of 4 adult children (several ACS grads) and 2 grandchildren, all of whom live within a 20 mile radius. She and her husband are members of Village Bible Church, Sugar Grove. In her spare time, Allison enjoys cooking/baking for her family, reading, travelling and walking any beach collecting rocks.

Mrs. Beth Harner joined the Aurora Christian Athletic Department in 2013. She serves as an Assistant to the ACS Athletic Director, Mr. Dan Beebe. She enjoys spending time with her family whether at a sporting event, vacation or just sitting around the table talking. She also enjoys watching good old Hallmark movies. She and her husband Paul have five children Jennifer (Matt), Brent (Kim), Janelle (Myles), Brooke and Brock. They currently live in Sugar Grove and attend Fox River Church in Sheridan.

Ms. Tori Henning grew up in Yorkville and attended Aurora Christian from 2nd-12th grade. She graduated from ACS in 2019 and went on to study Communication and Coaching at Taylor University in Indiana, where she is finishing up her degree. In addition to her schooling, Ms. Henning joins our staff this school year as the Alumni Coordinator. She enjoys participating in and running the Intramural sports at Taylor and also staying connected with her high school friends. She attends Urban Light Church in Muncie Indiana when at school and Calvary Church in Naperville when home.

Mrs. Destiny Llamas joined the staff at ACS as the Visual Communications Assistant, in the year 2019. In addition to her current role, she now offers her support as the Admissions Assistant. Mrs. Llamas and her family were born and raised in Aurora, Illinois. She and her husband, Orlando, and their 3 children, recently relocated to the Montgomery, IL area. A couple of their favorite things to do as a family is to take long walks through the beautiful weather and have family movie nights! They currently attend Church in Aurora, Illinois.

Mrs. Martinez was born in Mexico and raised in the West Chicago/Warrenville area. She worked for College of DuPage for 12 years before joining ACS. Her and her husband Nate got married in 2020 and recently moved to Plano. They love studying scripture, attending Christian concerts, spending time with their family, especially niece and nephews, and rooting on the Cubs! Her and her husband attend Church at Unidos Por Cristo in Lombard, IL. where they serve as part of the worship and production team. Mrs. Martinez says God is so good and she can't wait to serve ACS for HIS glory!

Mrs. Diane McQuade joined the Aurora Christian Athletic Department in 2011. She serves as an Assistant to the ACS Athletic Director, Mr. Dan Beebe. Diane thoroughly enjoys working with the ACS student athletes and their families. She and her husband Bob have four children Becky, Craig, Lisa and Ryan. They currently live in Yorkville, IL and attend Calvary West Church in Sugar Grove.

Mary Potter moved to Philadelphia after college graduation as a Teach For America corps member where she taught high school English. From there, Mary relocated to Chicago where she continued to work in the education space as both a high school teacher and for a school based non-profit working with CPS staff and students. From the education space, Mary transitioned to work with a handful of Chicago faith-based nonprofits in development, program planning, outreach and event planning. In 2020, Mary and her family moved back to the Aurora area which is where Mary grew up. She and her family live in Sugar Grove and attend Village Bible Church there. Mary and Hap have 4 kids; 3 of them attend ACS and they love to be outside, watch and play sports, travel, and cook for friends and family. Mary is thrilled to be working in a school again - especially one that means so much to her and her family.

Mrs Sarah Vizcaya joined the staff of Aurora Christian in 2020 as the part-time Preschool Secretary. Sarah is a lifetime resident of Aurora and is a 2002 alumni of ACS. Sarah and her husband, Dan have two children who both attend Aurora Christian.

B.S. Elementary Education - University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana (1993)
Mrs. Sarah Woodward grew up in Plainfield, IL. She attended her high school years at Aurora Christian and graduated in 1988. She originally majored in Accounting, but switched her major to Elementary Ed. After graduation, she taught business classes for one year at ACS at the high school level, then married her husband Andy and taught 2nd grade an additional 6 years. She left teaching to start a family and raise their daughter Annabelle. She returned as a Prek - 12th grade substitute once her daughter began school at ACS. She began her role as Finance Asst. in 2013 and loves working in the school setting and where her daughter (now a graduate) attended. Mrs. Woodward and her family reside in Aurora and attend Harvest Bible Chapel - Aurora.
