Aurora Christian School

Mrs. Susan Burroway came to Aurora Christian School in 1983.  She was born and raised in the small town of Sandwich, Illinois, then migrated to Naperville to attend North Central College.  For two years she studied Biology, Genetics and Invertebrate Zoology.  Susan married Terrence Burroway and together they moved to Aurora.  Their daughter, Rebekah, was born in 1978 and attended Aurora Christian School from K - 12.  Rebekah is now getting her doctorate in Sociology at Duke University and Susan continues her mission of providing nutritious meals to ACS students.  Terrence and Susan still live in Aurora and are active in a Christ-centered ministry to nearby nursing homes.
