Parent Organizations at ACS

TEACHER APPRECIATION
What We Do:
Teacher Appreciation Week at ACS takes place during the second week of May. The tradition is to spend parts of the week celebrating our teachers and staff that are so very important to our children. We will show our appreciation by providing our teachers and staff with a sit-down luncheon, decorating each classroom door, and presenting gifts to each teacher and staff member.

How to Get Involved:
We could use not only financial donations, but also donations of time while we set up, or donations of food items to include in our activities. Check out our page and volunteer form (link).

SPORTS BOOSTERS
What We Do:
The Sports Boosters have supported our athletic programs for many years. Each year more families join the ranks to support and encourage our teams. From selling concessions at our home games, to running golf tournaments, parents and friends have labored together to help make the ACS athletic experience the best it can be. We host and sponsor fund-raising events, purchase equipment and uniforms, support our coaches, attend games, show and ignite spirit, connect with other ACS families and serve where needed.

How to Get Involved:
The Booster Club would welcome your participation. You don't even have to have children who are involved on a team! Elementary through High School parents and grandparents are encouraged to join and participate with us. Visit our page (link) to get involved!

PARENTS PRAYER NETWORK

Who We Are & What We Do:
At the beginning of the 2010-2011 school year, a prayer team was put into place to serve the ACS family. Since then, we have been lifting up needs at Aurora Christian, from the administration and staff needs, to financial needs, to the well-being of families and students, and more! This has been an honor and a privilege for the team.
We will aim to follow Paul's advice to Timothy to "...fan into flame the gifts of God" (2 Timothy 1:6-7), and will use the scripture of Psalm 144:12-15 as our direction.
