Drama

The goal of ACS drama is to help students develop their theatrical talents in a way that honors Christ.

Our middle school students produce one play each year, during the fall.  Auditions are held the first week of September and the plays are performed the second or third weekend of October.  All students in grades 6-8 are encouraged to try out!  Those not assigned a stage part are welcomed to participate in the tech crew.  Students rehearse daily for approximately 6 weeks.  There are a few Saturday rehearsals, as well.

Miss Jessica Lindsay directed her very first play this year - a reality show spoof called "Shipwrecked!" - and it was a huge success!  Past performances have included "Murder Most Foul", "The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood", "Big Bucks", "School For Nerds" and many others.

If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Miss Lindsay for information (jessica.lindsay@aurorachristian.org).
