Welcome to the Aurora Christian Band Program! The Music Department strives for excellence in all that we do.
Being in band is a fun and rewarding experience. Many students will testify that being a part of the band program enhances their overall Aurora Christian experience. It provides an excellent opportunity for community involvement and can lead to friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
You will also invest time and effort into an activity that will allow you to grow not only musically, but also spiritually, as an individual and as a team. I believe music has the power to enrich a student’s life both in high school and in the year’s beyond. One of the primary goals of the band program is to develop a life long love for music making. Students who complete the band program here at Aurora Christian should learn to not only be life long lovers of music but also good productive members of society.
The music department at Aurora Christian is open to anyone who wants to continue their musical training or discover new talents. If you are looking for a comprehensive music program where you can participate in a close knit group with shared goals, the Aurora Christian band program is the place for you!

6th Grade Band
If you are continuing in the band program from 5th grade, welcome back.
If you are new to Aurora Christian School or just new to the band program, welcome.
It is my hope and prayer that the students involved in the 6th grade band will use their talents to serve the Lord and grow the band program as members throughout junior high and high school.
All of the 6th grade band members participate in one band. We meet every day during the school day. For students who need extra help, time after school is available for tutoring with me or one of the high school students. The 6th Grade band performs at the Christmas and Spring Concerts each year. They also perform at chapel when the schedule permits.

The junior high band program at Aurora Christian High School is made up of one band. The band performs for the annual Christmas and Spring Concerts, and at various sporting events. The eighth grade band members also attend the Illinois/Wisconsin ACSI Music Festival each year.
