Middle School

The members of our leadership team effectively lead our faculty and students in all aspects of their Christian education.  Distributed leadership is described as "the sharing, the spreading, and the distributing of leadership work across individuals and roles throughout the organization" (Smylie, Mayrowetz, Murphy, & Louis, 2007)

Mrs. Kuzma
Math Teacher
B.S. – Learning Behavior Specialist I and Elementary Education – Bradley University (2006) Endorsement – Middle School Math and Language Arts – Northern Illinois University and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2008)

Mrs. Blair Kuzma began her teaching career at Plainfield Community Consolidated School District as a Self-Contained Special Education Teacher for 3rd-5th grades for two years.  At that time, Mrs. Kuzma went back to school to complete her middle school endorsement classes and was a permanent substitute teacher at Indian Prairie School District for 5 special education classrooms.  The following year Mrs. Kuzma was a classroom assistant at Krejci Academy through Little Friends, Inc. for a middle school boys’ classroom.  Mrs. Kuzma was happy to get back into full-time teaching in 2010 for 1st-3rd grades special education in Tinley Park.  In 2011, Mrs. Kuzma remained in Tinley Park accepting a 4th grade regular education year-long maternity leave teaching position.  Since the 4th grade teacher came back, Mrs. Kuzma no longer had a teaching position and worked as a Service Coordinator for Early Intervention at DayOne Network in Geneva.  Mrs. Kuzma’s persistence in finding a middle school math teaching position paid off as she currently teaches middle school math at ACS.  Mrs. Kuzma attends and volunteers at Crossroads Community Church in Oswego.
