ACS TRACK & FIELD HALL OF FAME
The Aurora Christian track program would like to honor those athletes who have worked hard during their time at Aurora Christian by representing the school in a manner which exemplifies the true meaning of what it takes to be a high level student athlete.
To qualify for the Track and Field Hall of Fame, an athlete must have placed in the finals at the Illinois State Track and Field Meet. This means that such athletes have trained the bodies and mind to the point that they are ranked among the top nine athletes in the state in their event.

Elyssa Zielke (Class of 2007)
Elyssa showed true grit as she fought through two injuries to compete in the state finals. In 2006, she sprained an ankle two weeks before the state meet but was still able to finish sixth and in 2007 she clipped a hurdle during a meet, injuring her right hip and was unable to run the hurdles well, but still managed to qualify for the state meet in the 300 low hurdles and two relays.
Elyssa was the first ACS track member to qualify for state track meet all four years.

Ann Schuette
Ann was a three year state qualifier in the 3200 however she was plagued with stress fractures her sophomore and junior year so she was never able to perform at a level high enough to place at state until 2008, her senior year in which she placed seventh in the state with a time of 11:49.71. Ann will be forever remembered for her leadership and courage she displayed while training even though she was hurt. She always kept a positive mental attitude. Ann was also a member of the 2006 second place in state team.
