    I am a Navy pilot. I have been in the military for over 20 years and currently live in Sicily, Italy.

    I attended ACS K-9th grade before moving to Chattanooga, graduating from High School there in 1992. I attended Culinary School in Atlanta and went on to work in some top-rated Atlanta restaurants, and then as a chef for a catering company of private schools in metro Atlanta. Now, I work with my boyfriend outside of Savannah, Georgia on a race car team traveling the country.

     I am currently a sophomore at Waubonsee Community College. After graduating from there, I hope to go to Aurora University for my Junior and Senior years of college. I'm majoring in Computer Programming and I am enjoying the computer classes I have to take to receive my degree. I am also enjoying the rest of my classes that I am taking at Waubonsee.

     Received and EdD in 2009 and am the Director of the Athletic Training Education Program at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

    BA in Chemistry and Spanish at Taylor University Masters in Information Systems Worked at Abbott Laboratories and TAP Pharmaceuticals for 6 years, then started a family, and quit my job to become a homemaker. Loving it. Looking to get back into clowning now! (:

     After ACS, attended North Park University, graduated in 2002, played basketball all four years, team captain and MVP Senior, 2nd all-time for 3Pt baskets made at North Park University, currently a senior sales rep for USA Athletic Club and Spa.

     I became an obstetrics & gynecology doctor. Working at CHA hospital in Korea. I miss you all.

     I attended Judson College in Elgin, IL and received my Bachelors in Education. I worked in Children's Ministry at some local churches for seven years. I met my husband and moved to Houston, TX where I am now a stay-at-home mom!

    Married Rachel on October 13, 2007 in Sterling, Illinois. Expecting our first child on December 17, 2010. Currently work at Illinois State University as the Coordinator of Competitive and Special Programs and coach basketball at Thomas Metcalf Laboratory School. 

  • Matthew Spencer '98

    I Joined the Army in 1998. I was stationed in Germany for six years, and am currently stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY, with 101st Airborne Division. I have been deployed 3 times to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and am currently on a 12 month deployment in Afghanistan. I have been married for 10 years and have 4 great kids.

    My wife and I have been happily married for over twelve years. We have two awesome children. I have been working as an elecrician in the Aurora area for seven years. My wife and I are in are thirteenth year helping out with the youth department, at First Apostolic Church of Aurora.

    I've been working the last 10 years at an insurance company as an analyst. As stated above I have 2 awesome kids and have been happily married since 1999. I love to play guitar and sing, and am currently serving as the worship leader for the contemporary service at First Pres in Aurora. I also play in a Christian worship band on the side.

    I work for Kettley Realtors as an agent and admin. I sing lead in a band. I'll probably get engaged soon. For kicks I once sold diamonds for Diamonds International in different crusie ship ports in Mexico and Alaska for 3 years. Now I live in St Charles, IL

    I am a stay-at-home mom that enjoys spending time with my family, teaching piano, tutoring math students, and playing the piano at my church. I still spend time at ACS playing the piano for the HS/MS choirs.

    Graduated from Spring Arbor College (now Spring Arbor University) in 1994. Masters degree from Marygrove College in 2009. Married my husband Scott in 1994. I have been teaching for 15 years, currently teaching 3rd grade for Western School District, in Parma, MI.

     I spent 4 yrs in the Navy ('87-'91), work as a Research and Development Laboratory Tech for Miner Enterprises for the next 12 yrs, married my wife in 1988. Now I work for St. Charles (IL) Fire as a Fireman/Paramedic (since 2003).

    I am in my senior year at Clarke University. Seems like just yesterday I was in high school and now I will be graduating in May (2011) with a BA in Social Work! Very excited! :) I will then be going back to school for my Masters, hopefully around home somewhere! I was very blessed to be a part of ACS and will always have my memories! Thank you for everything that you have done to make that a wonderful experience! :)

     I started go to a Chinese church near campus. I am doing the normal service on Sunday and also a paddle in Chinese on campus. All am trying to say is I am keeping the way ACS inherited in my life. I got my frist bible from ACS. I stared my journey of discovery in Christianity in ACS. I appreciate anything God has given me in my life: the family, my host family in america, the opportunity coming to US for education, or just say everything in my life. i will keep seek him and follow his words.

    Completed a short term missions trip in Manila, Philippines, with Youth With A Mission, Jan - June 1989. Graduated with a bachelor's degree from Evangel University, Springfield, MO, December 1994. Began working for RR Donnelley, August 1997. Got married to Brigette Schrock-Templin, October 2004. Earned my A+ IT Technician Certification from CompTIA, July 2009. And, have recently completed two courses of Wilton Method cake decorating.

     I am currently attending the International House of Prayer University majoring in the Apostolic Leadership Program. Hoping to work in an orphanage in Africa for a time and continue raising up children who know who they are in Christ.

  • Pam Flippin '81

    I'm putting together a presentation to help young people and adults with credit and loan info, etc. It will include knowledge about student loans as well as personal finances. I will be traveling around the country speaking for groups on Saturdays and then spend time with each person who has specific questions. If you're interested or know a group that might be interested in this, please send an e-mail (pam.flippin@hotmail.com). My life and work experiences have all prepared me to do this, and I was recently approached by a man about it while performing my job - I'm the Student Loan Processing Manager at Cedarville University. I won't be asking a lot for this service.
