Aurora Christian School is an F 1 approved school.  We accept students from around the world to study with us and share life with us in the security of an American Christian home.  Currently, we have students from Brazil, China, Czech Republic, France, and Korea. Why don’t YOU apply today!

New Students

If you are interested in attending Aurora Christian High School follow the links for the New Student Application.  After submitting the application an appointment should be set up to speak with our Dean of Students, Mr. Scott Oleson.  scott.oleson@aurorachristian.org or call 630-892-1551. He will ask you for transcripts and official school paperwork.  Once accepted, our International Student Coordinator, Mrs. Naomi Etchsion, will begin working on finding just the right Host Family for you!  She will apply for an F1 visa and work with you throughout the school year

Host Families

International Students are hosted by families who desire to share the love of God with a high school student.  Most often these families have a student at ACS and they become like one of the family.  If you are interested in hosting a student from another country for one school year please contact naomi.etchison@aurorachristian.org.

Application Process

• Let Mrs. Etchsion know you are interested in hosting a student

• Fill out a host family application

• Mrs. Etchison will arrange an in-home interview and information session.  All famly members must be present.

• You will be asked to provide a reference on your application.

• A criminal background check will be done on all adults members (over 18 years old) of your household.

• We ask that you please pray for God’s direction for you and the student.

Organization

We work with students independently or in cooperation with outside organizations. Destinations is one of the organizations we work with.  “Destinations is a uniquely Christian cross-cultural exchange program administered by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). The purpose of the program is to promote cross-cultural learning among ACSI member schools, their students, staff, and communities for the glory of God.”
